Get "Ready To Believe You" Egon Today!
Matty's site, http://www.mattycollector.com/store/matty/en_US/pd/productID.234328300 , has Egon on sale in about a half hour. Totally recommend it as it comes with the first ghost we see in the movie... the Library Ghost! She also was the boss in the most recent Ghostbusters game.
Psych Marathon!
Pysch is one of my favorite TV shows. Cloo ( http://www.cloo.com/ ) is doing an all day Psych Marathon today. For those with Cloo, check it out. For this without it, get a Cloo? ;)

Opening Mr. Stay Puft!
This video is me opening the SDCC Stay Puft figure from Mattel. The music is by Moby and is called "Ghost Return." I figured it would be a perfect song to play while opening the giant manifestation of Gozer.
I will review the figure in detail tonight!
Monsters (2010 Film)
It's no secret that I have a crush on anything that the UK does. Really, it's no secret. So last week, I was standing in front of a Red Box movie rental machine and trying to decide on what movie I should use my free rental code on. Monsters looked like a good pick. The name of the movie, the description, and the picture used gave it character. That's something you don't see anymore; a movie with a lot of greatness going for it. Still, I was unsure of how good the movie could be; but it was a free rental code.
The opening of the movie seemed a little shaky; it was shot in a first person's view through night vision; as you can see with this uploaded video. I was thinking, "Aw man, not another Cloverfield."
The plot at first doesn't make sense with the opening of the movie but I cannot tell you how important it is to watch the movie as one continuous film. The little hiccup of the opening of the movie eventually makes much more sense when you see the end of the movie.
The plot of the movie is simple and almost original; NASA happens to find life in space and brings samples back to Earth. During reentry, the specimens are lost and end up between Mexico and the US. A couple years later, the creatures now have control of that area. The main characters are Andrew Kaulder and Samantha Wynden. Andrew is sent by his boss to retrieve his daughter. Unfortunately, getting back isn't as easy as they expected.
The visuals for the movie were pretty amazing when it came to the fact that whole movie had a small budget of only $500,000; giving the filming equipment a budget of only $15,000. Gareth Edwards actually wrote, directed, filmed, and did the visual effects for the film himself using off-the-shelf computer programs. The music score is pretty great; as it was atmospheric and relaxing.
The acting was also great as two lesser known actors were used. Since the actors were dating in real life, they were able to work better with each other. The extras were actually locals doing improvised parts.
I'd definitely recommend anyone and everyone to check this movie using Red Box for the low cost of a $1. You can't get a better deal for your dollar elsewhere!
Working on the Library.
So it's time I work on the library for my Ghostbusters figures... I think this is a good start. I'll have better pictures up later this week.

Pixelpipe'd Out!
To make better use of the Web 2.0 Social Media, I'm going to start using Pixelpipe.com to do all my posting. I can get a lot more posting accessed in a matter of seconds rather than having to manually access each site at a time to repeat the same information.
Cannot wait for this figure to be released!
This figure really looks good. I'm also testing Pixelpipe out to see how this works and if it will help with the site!

Captain America Review
I saw Captain America the day it came out, and I was pretty impressed. Before I saw it, I was expecting an ok marvel superhero movie. Admit it, without a good Captain America movie, The Avengers movie would be doomed to fail. How could you base an Avengers movie off a bad Captain America movie? Well, marvel accomplished the task very well. The movie didn’t have the most recognizable talent, other than Tommy Lee Jones and Hugo Weaving. Another reason why the movie didn’t seem like it was going to be great.
Well readers, I’ve got some news to give you. Captain America may be the best movie this summer. There, I said it. The acting was great, the story impressive. It had good action scenes. I’m not a huge comic book reader, I know very little of the story according to the comics but it seemed to follow it well from what I know. I’d say it gets four out of five stars. It was very well done, and will lead very well into the movie we are all waiting for, The Avengers in 2012. By the way, stay after the credits. You’ll thank me later!

30 Day Song Challenge: Day 04 - A Song That Makes You Sad
Now the title itself makes little sense by itself; even with the lyrics and the song it makes no sense. But look at it as this: I Go To The Barn Because I Like The - Band Of Horses.
I first heard this song while watching Psych.
