Conning Attractions: SDCC 2012 Wrap-Up

We're hot on the trail of these exciting trailers and character goods.

Lost and Found - Complain all you want about the Mass Effect 3 ending, but the ending to FUNimation's San Diego Comic-Con International panel only left more footage to be desired after they debuted the premiere trailer for Mass Effect: Paragon Lost. A Mass Effect 3 prequel from Production I.G.? Shut up and take our Element Zero!

Damned If You Do - After sitting down with Resident Evil: Damnation director Makoto Kamiya (stay tuned for the upcoming interview), we were hungry for more (footage, not human flesh)! Between this brutal SDCC trailer and the steady flow of Resident Evil 6 information, we're shaking in our boots already.

Piece of Mind - What happens when you combine the hack-and-slash action of Dynasty Warriors with the frenetic, pirate-filled world of One Piece? You get the highly addictive action of Namco Bandai's One Piece: Pirate Warriors, featuring a huge cast of character from the show and Japanese voiceover tracks from the seiyuu themselves. Being as flexible as Luffy will be a nice change of pace considering we pulled a muscle writing this sentence.

Hadouken Kitty - One of the strangest (and cutest) collaborations in recent memory, Toynami's Hello Kitty x Street Fighter merchandise was a highlight of the con floor, drawing huge crowds to take home the seriously adorable Chun-Li Kitty plushie. Not enough? Viz Media will be releasing two Street Fighter/Sanrio books later this fall. Now, if we could only get CAPCOM to make a game where Keroppi can wail on Zangief.
