We've Got Your Ticket to Star Wars Celebration VI
The Floridian festivities need not be far, far away.
There are many ways to win big in the Star Wars universe. You could get holo-chess training from Artoo, win a Corellian starship in a hand of Sabacc or use Jedi-like reflexes while piloting a podracer. But those require, y'know, work. All you have to do to win a pair of four-day passes to Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, Florida, is enter our giveaway. And then, if you like, increase your chances on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. In the spirit of Han Solo, we'd never tell you the odds; but contrary to Yoda's advice, we do think that "try" is a far better option here than "do not."
For four days - Aug 23-26, 2012 - Orlando's Orange County Convention Center will be filled with more fanfare and costumes than a Gungan victory parade on the streets of Theed. With celebrity hosts like our own Chris Hardwick, and special guests ranging from Mark Hamill and Ian McDiarmid to Jake Lloyd and Paul Springer (he's the guy who played Ree-Yees, people! Get with it!), it's going to be the must-attend event for Lucasfilm fans old and new. Famous uber-fan Kevin Smith is coming as well, and there'll be the usual costume contests, vendors, tattoo showcases and even speed dating. Or you could just come dressed as Slave Leia and get asked out by everyone anyway.
But before worrying about how to dress, you're going to need these passes. Be sure you enter for the chance to start your journey off right with two four-day passes. Like the hyperdrive on your space vehicle, it's a crucial part you don't want to neglect - negotiating with Toydarians, hanging out inside a space slug, or whatever the real-world equivalent is aren't fun things when they happen to you.
